Sentencing for 30 Karacheva Operation Suspects

According to the request, the suspect F.L., in the village of Karacheva, the municipality of Kamenica, in quality of police official, with the aim of illegal property gains, has consistently helped, hid and prevented the carrying out of criminal work on the part of other suspects who, crossing the border, have avoided customs control through illegal routes and have smuggled various goods. And the same, in its locale, has consistently organized game of fate, which is prohibited by law.

In this way the suspect, F.L., allegedly committed criminal acts with goods smuggling and organising pyramid schemes and illegal gambling, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo (KPRK).

Suspects H.K., S.C., I.S., F.K., A.C., F.Z., R.TH., S.G., S.N., S.M. and Z.A., in the quality of police officials, consistently and with the aim of illegal property gains have helped, facilitated, and prevented from carrying out criminal work on the part of other suspects who have avoided customs control through illegal routes and made smuggling of various goods.

With these actions, the same allegedly committed criminal work, KPRK's smuggling of goods.

Defenders D.S., F.S., N.C., S.D., E.C., A.S., B.S., A.TH., S., F.S., B.S., F.S., V.S. and A.S., allegedly committed criminal acts of smuggling with goods, since in co-operation between themselves and alleged police officials have consistently avoided customs control and through illegal routes have been smuggling with goods.

While defendants Y.F., R.G., N.C. and L.G., with the aim of illegal property gains, have organized the game of fate, which is prohibited by law, with these actions allegedly carried out the criminal work the organisation of pyramid schemes and illegal gambling, of KPRK.

The detention action appointment hearing is expected to be held tomorrow, before the judge of the preliminary procedure.
