Sweden has discontinued military service in peacetime, a decision that enters into force in just 30,06,2010. Compared to Turkey, Germany is the only major country NATO, recruiting young people for military service. Forced military service also exists in Greece, Cyprus, Austria, Norway, Finland, and Estonia
