Vushtrri Community Chairman Xhafer Tahiri has indicated that students of lower elementary school “Mestafe Venhari” from tomorrow will continue the lesson at a distance (online) due to several cases of COVID-19 that appeared there earlier.
Tahiri has said it was done based on protocol for school behavior rules under pandemic conditions, requiring the responsible institutions to make a decision about the transition from A to teaching scenario C that means distance and online instruction.
On Wednesday day, at a city school unfortunately, suspicious cases of COVD 19 infection were presented to students. We've reacted immediately and in collaboration with the ICHPK are testing students of two classes and all of the school staff. Unfortunately, several cases -- students and teachers -- have resulted in positive COVID 19. All infected are in good health and have no problems”.
We were aware of and are aware that we are in pandemic conditions and that unexpected conditions may occur, but the return of children to school did not have and there is no alternative despite challenges”
“Task Community Force, Emergency Staff and OWS, August and IKSHPK will convey the situation and in time make a decision to return to school depending on the epidemiological situation”, Tahiri wrote on the social Facebook network.
