In his speech to the judge of this session, Nicolas Guillou, lawyer Von Boné has said they do not rule out the possibility of handing in motions, through which they will aim to oppose the jurisdiction and legitimacy of the Special Court.
He has given further remarks, stressing that former Chief of Intelligence in the Kosovo Security Force, Salih Mustafa, has not yet seen the complete, unread indictment against him.
My “licent received only the edited version of the indictment. I don't know why they were edited or who was mentioned in the edited version. When it's available, we need it. Of course all this is very new to my client, it's going to take some time to adapt to”, said the defence attorney from Rotterdam.
Salih Mustafa was arrested in Kosovo last week and sent to The Hague Specialised Chambers on four counts weighing on him for acts allegedly committed during the war, including murder and torture.
Members of the KLA War Veterans Organisation, including its chairman, Hysni Gucatin and Deputy Chairman Nasim Haradinaj, who were arrested Friday, have repeatedly claimed they do not recognise the Special Court, naming it an ethnic court.
