In a report by Spercia, Mustafa has reportedly been arrested after confirming the indictment.
“Salih MUSTAFA was arrested today in Kosovo by the Specialised Prosecutor's Office on the basis of a warrant for arrest, order for transfer and confirmed indictment issued by a court of preliminary procedure of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers”, it is said in special announcement.
Also, it is confirmed there that Mustafa is being transferred to The Hague.
“Z. MUSTAFA is being transferred to the detention facility of Kosovo's Specialised Chambers in The Hague and will appear before the judge of the preliminary procedure without delay uninhibited”, the report said.
But who is Salih Mustafa?
Mustafa has been part of the organisation of the National Liberation Movement since 1988, under the leadership of Africa Dzitia, Fahri Fazlia and Fadil Vata.
During the illegal activity, he was arrested by Slobodan Milosevic's regime in 1993 and sentenced to 5 years in prison for organising the armed uprising.
In August 1997, after ending his prison sentence, Mustafa was committed to organising and expanding the KLA in the Pristina region, Obilicqi, Gjilan, Kamenica's Year.
He has led the KLA guerrilla units under the name BIA guerrilla until the establishment of operations zones of Llap and Karadaku.
Mustafa has been an associate of Bahri Fazli, Agron Candman, Ilir Konushevci, Raif Cela, Fatmir Humolli, Isa Kastrat of many other KLA 911 figures.
Salih Mustafa has been one of the founders of the LCQC.
He served as head of the Kosovo Protection Corps intelligence department, then as intelligence adviser to Prime Minister Agim Ceku.
Meanwhile, the Defence Ministry has confirmed the arrest of its official, but I don't know if he was arrested by Elux, at the order of the Special Tribunal.
“We confirm Mr. Sali Mustafa's arrest by civil official at the defence ministry”, ministry spokesman Ibrahim Shala has said.
However, the ministry still has no information about who arrested its official.
