Romania is one of five European Union countries that have not yet recognised Kosovo's independence.
It is the foreign minister of this state, Bogdan Aurescu, who has declared today that they support reaching an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, reports Acherpres.
He has indicated at the meeting he had with EU Special Envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process Miroslav Lajcak that they give support to a comprehensive agreement between the two sides.
Aurescu has expressed gratitude to Lajcak for his commitment to restart the negotiations process, according to him, on a complex issue.
“Romania supports reaching the comprehensive agreement between the two sides, which would pass through the European Union and be in full compliance with international laws”, it has indicated.
