Over the past 24 hours, a total of 481 persons in Kosovo have been tested, of which have resulted in 97 positive cases with COVID-19. After more than 4 months, Kosovo has registered the first day without any victims from the Coronobrus. In the last 24 hours, 139 patients have also been cured.
Isme Humolli, representative of the World Health Organisation in Kosovo, says co-operation with Kosovo institutions has been very good.
It expresses concern about the high number of active cases, as there are more than 3 thousand people and can be considered the spread grounds of the virus.
The “not only Kosovo, but also the region must continue with restrictive measures. Setting the mask and keeping the distance is binding. Freedom of measures is not recommended. We have a slight drop in cases over the last week but we can't relax because it may be a false drop because in relation to the number of residents testing is low and we don't know the extent of the virus spreading to the community”, Humwall told Euronews Albania.
