Kosovo's military not only defence of territory within but can soon start operations outside borders.
Defence Minister Anton Quinn at the Government meeting said the KSF is willing to co-operate and participate in military operations.
That statement, Quinn, said until he proposed voting the concept-document for sending the KSF out of the country.
The newly drafted “Policy paves the way for establishing the legal basis in determining the responsibilities and competencies of institutions in the event of sending the KSF abroad, as well as proceeding and sending it to international operations and other military activities, the way of withdrawal, replacement and way of financing”, Quit announced during his speech.
For this job, two Government members voted against and one abstained.
However, the votes were enough to vote on, writes Infocus newspaper.
And before the decision was made, Deputy Finance Minister Agim Krasniqi said the document in question has additional costs that are not preemptive with framework and budgetary projections.
The first scenario is 4.3 million, and in the second scenario over 3 million. Therefore, we recommend that during drafting the bill all activities take place within budgetary divisions”, Krasniqi said.
