For months, patients treated at CKUK and regional hospitals have been supplied with suspicious oxygen.

Sa SKUK has given permission to supply the KKUK and regional hospitals with suspicious oxygen, which have not provided details about the quality of this oxygen. And this has alarmed Kosovo Assembly deputies.

AAK MP Arber Tolaj, in an interview for Online Economy, has said he is concerned about him as health professionals and as a parliamentary group.

“ ... we've heard that some unlicensed economic operators are making oxygen supplies to public institutions, as is the CKUK and regional hospitals in Kosovo, and that we both as a parliamentary group and as health professionals raised concerns about this matter”, he said.

And these things, according to Tolaj, are blaming health personnel. He says that when oxygen is such, then the blame falls on doctors and nurses.

And we're unfortunately under these circumstances every time bad things happen like losing six people's lives a month ago, then they've just started investigations by competent organs, but as a professional duty, we have to clarify the opinion and suggest that competent media and organs not blame health personnel when these things happen, because the very fact that oxygen which is a necessary tool in these cases”

“ ... of those who have been infected with COVID-19 to be careful because health personnel are really doing their best hours long, with great responsibility to continue helping those who are infected with COVID-19”, Tolaj said, while appealing for competent organs to do their job.

Abnegation Considers Even an MP PDK, Bekim Haxhiu. According to him, such cases dare not endanger the lives of patients.

It's a criminal offense. You know that three years ago it was a tragic case because of the use of unlicensed gas and the same dare not risk the health of our patients because of the irresponsability and mismanagement of institutional responsibles, this case of the Ministry of Health or SHSKUK. There's no reason to use unlicensed oxygen, it's a criminal offense, and I appeal to the Prosecutor to handle the case and the MS to order the disruption of unlicensed oxygen supply”, he said.

Haxhiu has appealed not to blame health personnel if oxygen is not needed. He says institutions have failed in this direction, while he says that where it is in the hands of health personnel, the situation is well managed.

“Health Person is doing their work responsibly and with dedication since the beginning of the pandemic”.

“Menagers are the ones who have failed and said it in the past, because where it was in the hands of health personnel it was managed perfectly but where it was in the hands of political responsibles it has been mismanaged and mismanaged, as is now the case with oxygen”, Haxhi said, as he added that they will go to the end to make this case worse.

The Online economy has tried to take a stand by the Ministry of Health and by Valbon Krasniqi, the director of KSFKU, but the same have not responded to editorial calls.
