The” Agreement on the economic normalisation of relations with Kosovo, which was signed today at the White House, contains many solutions, which will be the subject of analysis”, so the Serbian medium, B92.net, writes.
Serbian media show where Serbia can pride itself on.
1. The famous 10th point, which was removed, envisioning mutual recognition of Serbia and so-called Kosovo.
2. The agreement on normalising economic relations between Serbia and the so-called Kosovo is not mutually signed. The deal is therefore bilateral, not tripartite, which means the third “papa is”, meaning. Kosovo is not recognised as subject to international law with this agreement.
3. A mortorium was established, for a year, on the membership of the so-called Kosovo in international organisations and institutions. Thus, the Kosovo status issue was once again set aside, despite Pristina's insistence and expectations.
4. Pristina was forced to join the initiative of President Vucic “Little Schengeni”, which it rejected, even with Tirana's insistence, which, besides Northern Macedonia, joined this economic project. In doing so, the United States has shown that it has recognised and reaffirmed Belgrade's political constructiveity and commitment to progress in relations within the Western Balkans region, regardless of the policies of various countries.
5. A new page has opened in Serbia's relations with the United States, which for many years, even decades, viewed Pristina as its partner in the Balkans. President Vucic's assessment that the agreement signed at the White House is very important for Serbia and that there is nothing to be ashamed of is argued by every point from the document, which was won under great pressure at the house of the world power that recognised Kosovo.
