For the last five Sundays, at least 100,000 people have protested what is widely seen as manipulated elections, the BBC writes.
President Alexander Lukashenko claims a landslide majority victory in the 9 August elections, but a brutal blow of initial protests against the result only sparked the anger of the people.
Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, who stood against Lucasenko as an opposition candidate, said she won the elections. She was forced to flee to Lithuania shortly later.
