Opposition MPs have asked for responsibility and greater commitment from the Ministry of Education and Science in preparation for continuing school education in this school year, until they have stressed that in many schools student temperature is being done by technical workers, while there are cases where disinfectation is becoming only water. As far as deputies in office are praising the work of Minister of Education Rame Likaj.

Vetevendosje Movement MP Jahja Kokaj at the session where the education minister, on behalf of the Vetevendosje Movement parliamentary group, has been invited to the session, said as many as 50 per cent of children last year have failed to convey the lesson, which is distressing.

My statistical visits have come up with the conclusion that the coverage or follow-up was approximately 50 percent to 60 percent. So it's a disturbing situation of coverage last year. So in this year we seek and insist that intelligence or organization be both electronically and conventionally in greater efficiency. And of course we have seen and MAST has planned alternative possibilities, these alternative opportunities make the situation more complex with many unknown”, he said.

And LDK MP Valentina Bulnjaku has said teaching at the start of the new academic year is well continuing in most municipalities. But it has sought a solution for the municipality of Kamenica, as learning is being boycotted.

At today's plenary session, Bulnjak considered that appropriate measures have been taken to accommodate even the Covid 19 pandemic.

This start of year in most municipalities has continued well, except in the municipality of Kamenica where we know that it is a serious problem. We as the commission will gather will receive all suggestions from the commission members and we will try to get Kamenica to help because we know that they are boycotting teaching”, she said.

Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Sejislav Hoxha has stressed that in many schools, the student temperature measure is being done by technical workers, which is not happening to MPs before the start of the plenary sessions. According to him, disinfectation in many Kosovo schools is becoming only water.

Hoxha during the plenary session has raised this concern, stressing that the lives of students and educators, like Kosovo deputies, should be taken seriously, for which she said discrimination is being made.

Other student health care countries have engaged medical professionals. They daily measure students ' temperatures and watch other symptoms associated with the COVID-19 virus. The question is who is doing this work in the Republic of Kosovo? Minister is fine with the market who is taking care of students in Kosovo? Who's measuring the student temperature at school? Of course, either teachers or technical and administrative workers are doing this. This action can endanger the health of students as well as the health of teachers and other employees because they are not field professionals”, he said.

Hoxha says in some schools there is information that disinfection is only by water.

“in all the disinfection schools in almost all schools are making employees technicians. I even have accurate information that some schools use water for disinfectation. There are no other disinfectant materials fighting COVID-19. And frankly this presents an extremely serious concern”, he stressed.

Among other things, on behalf of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Sejdiu Hoxha said the number of those left unregistered in public schools is extremely large. According to him, parents are very concerned and complain they have no conditions to register in private schools.

The Vetevendosje Movement has invited Education Minister Rame Likaj to intervene on the start of the new school year.

This party has asked Likaj to provide clarifications regarding the plan for the start of the new school year, as well as the conditions which have been created for students.
