Tirana police have detained a group of believers who headed towards the prime minister's building this afternoon to protest the closure of the 41 bis regime of self-declared Imam Genc Balla.
Police have had information on the protest of believers and have accompanied 30 people.
Genc Balla has been sentenced to 17 years in prison as leader of a group recruiting fighters from Albania to Syria. It was established in the “41 bis” regime, but did not last long after entering a hunger strike and its health situation deteriorated, thus ending in the prison hospital.
