Police and the FBI arrest three people for cybercrime

Kosovo police in collaboration with the FBI and in support of the State Prosecutor have arrested three people suspected of cyber crimes.
The Kibernetic Crimes Investigation Sector in the Kosovo Police, following a long investigation and co-operation with US authorities, specifically with the FBI, as well as in support of the State Prosecutor PTh Pristina, dated 16,09.2020 after taking investigative and operational action, has arrested three (3) persons suspected to have committed the criminal work” access to Computer System<1>.
The suspects were part of a group of hackers, they targeted various online platforms that possessed sensitive computer data.
Police indicate that, in interaction with each other through computer systems, they have created an online platform available only on DARKWEB (DARKWEB has to do with hidden internet used for illegal purposes) and via it illegal cyber activity.
On this platform the suspects have consistently placed and sold various electronic data, which they have previously provided through illegal online actions, like credit stolen cards in many countries of the world, different computer viruses, “via” for cyber attacks, e-mail addresses and passwords, telephone numbers, and other data.
This data and “via” have enabled the execution of other criminal activities.
The suspects arrested are: E. J, 1998m C.B., 1998, V.S., 1996.
Police say that during the search at two locations they've seized: Seven computer cottages, three laptop computers, four hard disks, seven mobile phones, five USB memory phones, two memory microDS, cash ready 2625 euros, various documentations.
At the prosecutor's decision three (3) suspects have been sent to the maintenance for further legal procedures.
