During the past 24 hours, a total of 1,002 new cases of coronary were recorded in Poland, according to Health Ministry data.
This is the highest number of cases in the Central European state in one day since the beginning of the pandemic, writes The Guardian.
The new record was marked several days after authorities tightened conditions under which doctors are obliged to send patients for testing. Critics say the new rules can limit the number of people going to test.
According to the Worldometers, Poland has so far marked over 78,000 infected persons and 2,282 dead.
Furthermore, over 63,000 people who have been affected by Ovid 19 in this country have already recovered, according to data on this site.
