The Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party of Kosovo has started today collecting signatures to invite extraordinary parliamentary sessions for Kosovo delegation meetings in Washington and signed agreements.
spokesman The PDK, Avni Bytyci, has confirmed that it has already begun collecting signatures for extraordinary sessioning, and as he said, expect the initiative to give support to MPs from other parliamentary parties.
He said that at the extraordinary session, Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti must report as the head of the delegation and provide accurate information on what he has discussed and the responsibilities he has received on behalf of the state of Kosovo through signed documents.
The PDK today has held the chairmanship meeting and the Parliamentary Group, where they discussed the dialogue held in Washington and Brussels.
According to the media-released communiqué, the Democratic Party of Kosovo considers recent developments in Kosovo-Serbia dialogue disappointing.
“Major civic and PDK expectations for a final agreement guaranteeing mutual recognition have turned into an indefinitely and compromise process on the part of the Kosovo state delegation”.
At the joint meeting of the leadership and the PDK parliamentary group, the state delegation's slippage from talks on final and binding legal agreements has been found in conversations on technical characters.
“The PDK urges the Kosovo state delegation to respect the country's Constitution. Kosovo's territories and national wealth talks are unconstitutional and against the country's strategic interests. The PDK considers the process of Mini-Shengen accepted by Kosovo's state delegation useless. The PDK is for Schengen, but, not for Mini-Shengen”, the PDK communiqué says.
