Recent statements by the country's President Hashim Thaci, and LDK chairman Isa Mustafa, about the Association of Serb-run municipalities, Vjosa Osmani is considering artificial clashes. Kosovo's Parliament Speaker said both have supported each other in terms of agreements related to association.
Osmani said that even in 2013, when the agreement was signed and ratified in the Assembly, even in 2015 when the document for implementation of association principles was signed, Mustafa and Thaci were together.
The “in both cases have been together, they have supported each other more or less, because in 2013 the LDK parliamentary group, despite the fact that it was in the opposition, has supported that deal signed by Thaci, which is rightly said to have established association, I voted against that agreement, and the very establishment of association has been among the reasons, while in 2015, Mr. Thaci stood behind as kind of approval of Mr. Mustafa of the 2015 document. So they supported each other in these signed papers and now it feels like an artificial collision that is not based on facts and truths that can easily be witnessed”, she said.
Osmani added that despite statements, the establishment of association with executive competencies is dangerous for Kosovo.
Vjosa Osmani also responded to her participation last night in the signing ceremony between Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and American Adam Baehler, where the President Thaci's Presidency Medal for Ambassador Green took place.
I have been invited by the American side, but also by the prime minister's office later to the ceremony, which has been intended for the two governments to sign a declaration or a pledge to an agreement that in the future can be negotiated and signed, which concerns promotion of investments, with American investments in Kosovo. But that yesterday was just a statement of political nature, while the agreement can be discussed and signed in the future, so there are still no concrete agreements”, Osmani said.
After the chairmanship meeting, Osmani announced that the leadership has decided to invite Prime Minister Hoti to report for the government's 100-day invitation is expected to take place over the next week.
While on Friday, the plenary Assembly session, where the law for economic recovery will be in order for war values, is expected.
