National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien, who attended the meetings, said the agreement on expanding economic ties could pave the way for political solutions in the future.

He also announced that Kosovo diplomas and licenses will be recognised in Serbia and vice versa, Klan Kosova reports.

“Fokus today is about normalising economic relations. It is a fantastic step the people of Kosovo and Serbia took. The opening of borders at investment crossings and mutual recognition of diplomas and licenses for a dentist who has been trained in Kosovo can also work in Kosovo. These are amazing steps”
