Today, in the United States, agreement has been reached between Kosovo and Serbia, until one of the points envisions equal membership in Kosovo's mini-Balkan Schengen and Serbia.
And so did Democratic League of Kosovo leader Isa Mustafa and the leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, who had sharply rejected the idea.
Mustafa, about a year ago when this idea was introduced, called “mini-Yugoslavi”, while now he didn't say a word to comment on it as the point of the agreement.
“At first glance, there are attractive projects, but in essence they lead to a new Yugoslavia, with Albania seeing Croatia and Slovenia. They're ideas that we haven't supported the government and that we will not support them as the Democratic League of Kosovo, in position or opposition. Just as we do not support changing Kosovo state borders. Kosovo should aspire to the unique European market, first on the basis of the SAA that regulates both customs and become part of the Schengen Agreement, where the EU states are. The Mini-Sengen deal was born when the project conceived in Serbia for the Customs Union was not realised and the idea for the Economic Union of Western Balkan countries, due to Kosovo and Montenegro's opposition.”, Mustafa had once written.
