He has said that all preparations have been made as well as all schools cleared.

“The schools have been cleared and disinfected, the general guide with 3 scenarios has been drafted, the master plan for e-learning that has been approved with an additional 12.5m-euro budget, has been drafted the protocol for response to the pandemic clearly defining the mode of action in certain cases. Each educational institution has created its own task force... communication of the task force will be daily. The calendar for the new school year has been published, the books have been distributed, the schedule has been set up, the teachers have been trained to prepare lessons, all teachers will participate in the long-range lesson”, Likaj said.

He has also said that even the education inspectorate will always be in the field to assess the situation in schools.

“Inspectorate Education has organised visits to the field to assess the situation in schools and without warnings. All participants in schools are obliged to wear masks, and the KAS has distributed over half a million masks. 300 teachers with health problems will be on leave”, he said.
