Minister Likaj points to opportunities to launch new academic year

Likaj, who is reporting to the assembly's deputies after calling for interference, has indicated the possibilities for the start of the new academic year.

Likaj said that far away instruction has been proposed, but that decisions will be made by academic entities.

“As for the new academic year, it's hard to talk about how we're going to develop it. As far as dormitories are concerned, there is still no possibility according to IKSCP until the situation improves with pandemic”, he said.

As for measuring the students' temperature, the issue that was raised by the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Minister Likaj said that anyone, whether by the parent or even the mentor, could do so. Among other things, he has talked about disinfecting schools.

“Other than the municipal budget, we as minister have allocated 2.6m euros for the job. 1100 schools will provide you with motor equipment so they can also have these devices.
