In Karatcheva, casino objects operating illegally were destroyed.
So far 33 people have been arrested in connection with criminal activities.
About 11 objects are illegal to be destroyed.
Also, lucky games have been seized, about 120 items, as well as various items as material evidence, allegedly used in criminal activities.
The operation has been launched as a result of an nearly one-year investigation led by the Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjilan over allegations of illegal activities, including illegal gambling, trafficking in people, gun trafficking, narcotics trafficking, smuggling of goods and other criminal activities.
This operation, which is the largest operation of its kind in the Republic of Kosovo, is an example of co-operation between the prosecution, police and police inspectorate”, says the Foundation Prosecutor's Community in Gjilan.
The Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjilan, in co-operation and co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the Police Inspectorate, is taking all necessary action regarding the case, where for details and additional information we will continue to keep you informed after the joint operation.
