KFOR Commander Major General Michele Reese has stated during a conference of the NATO Defence College Foundation in Rome that forming association of Serb majority municipalities is a controversial issue that carries a certain risk to itself.
“A very controversial point in dialogue has to do with forming an association of Serb majority municipalities and what office and executive power would be assigned to it. Some representatives of Kosovo Albanians warned of the danger of Kosovo's ébossation, which could jeopardise Kosovo state ethnicity”, Riesi said.
Otherwise, Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has said that forming association is an already closed topic.
Kosovo's Constitutional Court has found that the association of Serb majority municipalities in 23 articles is contrary to the Kosovo Constitution.
