Marco Djuric ambassador to the United States?

Zryres Director for Kosovo in the Government of Serbia, Marko Djuric, will be Serbia's new ambassador to Washington, reported on Tuesday B92, calling to its sources.

As this Serbian portal has written, they must first complete all procedural issues before Djuric takes over his new post.

The embassy in Washington has remained empty, as it has expired the mandate of Serbia's former ambassador, Gjerj Matkovic.

Djuric's presence in Washington during negotiations and signing of the agreement has prompted media in Belgrade to write that Djurici is probably preparing for post in the ministry, perhaps even replacing Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic.
