Madrid's Population Movement Limited 13%

The area of Madrid today announced a restriction on freedom of movement for about 13% of its population in an effort to stem the outbreak of COVID-19.

The “Banors in question will be able to get out of their neighborhoods to go to work, to see the doctor or to send their children to school”, said the president of this region of 6.6 million people, Isabel Diaz Ayuso, reports ATS.

She also said the gatherings should be down from 10 to 6 people.
