In a telephone conversation, Macro “called on Turkey to act in line with the full sovereignty of the European Union member states and with international law”, according to Elyzea, the ATSA reports.
Macron urged President Erdogan to refrain from unilateral actions that could provoke tensions and take steps in building a space of peace and co-operation throughout the Mediterranean.
