Macedonia expected to open borders next week with regional countries

Health Minister Venko Filipce says countries in the region over the next week will make final decisions on opening borders.

The upcoming meeting for the regime of citizens' movement from the region will take place between six countries from the Western Balkans, including Bulgaria and Greece.

Minister Filipce said that the epidemiological situation is similar throughout the region and that balance could liberalise cross-border and free movement in countries of the region.

One of the conditions is the removal of PCR tests in order to cross the border.
