Subheader PDK has commented on Washington's agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.
He has said he has concerns about agreeing to the Kosovo side for the feasibility of Weyman Lake as Kosovo's major water source.
“Ide that there may be a co-owner (of the lake) is disturbing outside the context of mutual recognition (Kosovo-Serbia). States that recognise each other reach agreements that are also under the international water exploration agreement. This out of context of mutual recognition, we see it dangerous because of the possibility of opening the issue of other Kosovo resources”, Krasniqi has indicated.
Another concern he has cited Kosovo's entry into the mini-Shangen, which Kosovo institutions' leaders have earlier voiced.
The PDK rejected the invitation to be part of the state delegation in talks with Serbia, but Krasniqi says this party has supported reaching agreement on mutual recognition in Washington, which did not happen at the White House negotiating table.
We as the PDK have supported the delegation and support an agreement that ends a conflict. That didn't happen. Going with a large delegation there has not been serious”, Krasniqi said, adding that in the absence of recognition, everything else is dangerous for Kosovo.
Krasniqi has called US involvement vital in the dialogue process, following the threat of reports by former government Kurti, while adding that at the meeting at the White House, there has been çthalka on maps as the head of Vetevendosje said about Kosovo-Serbia territorial exchanges.
