European diplomacy chief Josep Borrell and the EU's special minister for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, will meet with Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, at another high-level dialogue meeting in Brussels today.
As part of the comprehensive agreement on normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, the meeting will address the adjustment of the non-most community and resolving bilateral financial/prone requirements.
The Kosovo-Serbia dialogue summit is scheduled to begin at 10:00.
European diplomacy chief Josep Borrell will issue a press release before the start of the meeting and special EU representative Miroslav Lajcak at the end of the meeting. Both statements will be broadcast to the council and EbS channels around 10:30 and the Slovak diplomat's statement after the end of the meeting.
Kosovo's state co-ordinator for dialogue with Serbia, Skender Hyseni, has announced from Brussels on Sunday that there is the approach of Serb and Kosovo-run positions for reaching a comprehensive agreement on mutual recognition.
The “we're close, today there's been a little constructive exchanges, attitudes, thoughts and there's still a lot left to round tomorrow at a high level. Tonight we will discuss issues that remain more controversial. There is visible approach to what I'm calling elements of a comprehensive agreement for mutual recognition”, Hyseni said.
Dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia resumed in Brussels on 16 July. At meetings recently held in Brussels, it has been discussed for the displaced, the unemployed and economic co-operation.
