Kosovo students are warned to limit visa length

Aaron Rachlin-Melnick, political adviser to the American Council for Migration through a Twitter post, said that with the new Interior Department proposal students from several states would have limited to two years to obtain visas. And one of the countries involved in this proposal is [...]
One of the countries involved in the proposal is Kosovo.
“In the new Internal Security Department proposal, whether you are born or are a citizen of one of these countries on this map, you will not be able to obtain a four-year visa in the United States, while the student visa is limited to the maximum by two times”, Rachel-Melnick wrote.
And that has been the reaction of MP Mimoza Kusari-Lila through a Facebook post.
“Not liberalisation as it was said, but today the US Department for National Security announced that the time limit for which students from Kosovo can apply for American visas is set. It was announced in this report that students from states on the attached lists could obtain visas no longer than 2 years for US study”, she wrote.
Kusari-Lila has added that Kosovo is among the states from Africa and Asia, which is estimated that its citizens exceed the time of their stay beyond the term of the currency visa in the US.
President Trump's Administration since last year has begun preparing a stricter limit on these states. The official announcement was announced today, while it appears to have been prepared before September 4th, but as Kosovo's delegation to the US “does not have the opportunity to address it properly as Wajman and Mini Schengen” wrote Kusari-Lila. “But it doesn't matter, Kosovars are used to applica and visa re-applic, of importance we have good pictures. Normalizing that no joke!
