The entire task of the working group was in full operation to fulfill the obligations, which come out of the Kosovo Government's 2020-21 Work Plan and the 2020 Legal Programme.
Kosovo's corrective service with the Bill aims to achieve its goals in order to advance and develop the Kosovo Correcting Service as an important mechanism under the justice system of the Republic of Kosovo. Through this legal arrangement, it is also designed to have an effect on the establishment of citizens' trust in the justice system, and particularly in the SKK as one of the vitalally important institutions for the correction and re-socialisation of prisoners so that the same prisoners, after the end of the prison, return to family and society as useful citizens”, the USKK communiqué says.
The Kosovo Correcting Service estimates that overhauling the field, competencies, internal organisation, reforming and advancing Kosovo's Correcting Service is simultaneously in operation of creating conditions for treating prisoners according to local and international standards.
