A 45-year-old Kosovo in Graz, Austria, had wrongly thought his 20-year-old daughter had been kidnapped in front of his eyes, pulling into a car.
He followed the car for about 30 miles [50 km]. But his daughter was actually at home and had not heard the phone, reports “rone.at”.
On Monday evening, the 20-year-old girl had visited her parents in Graz. When she wanted to go home, it started to rain. Dad felt bad and wanted to drive her to her apartment. But he didn't find the girl and suddenly he saw a young woman, who looked like his daughter, pulling “into a black car”.
The 45-year-old with his son began his pursuit. He tried to stop the car several times. But the 19-year-old on the black car wheel was naturally panicking. He didn't know why he was chasing Audi back. So he began to hurry. The concerned father alarmed the police and his son, who also began following.
Mercedes stopped around 23:30 on Wiener Street in Graz. But there was not Kosovo's 20-year-old daughter in the car. But it was a whole other 19-year-old.
His daughter was actually in her apartment at the time. Because he couldn't get on the phone first, 45-year-old thought his daughter was kidnapped. According to the first investigation, it was allegedly a misunderstanding and error”, Graz Police spokesman Markus Lamb said.
