This has been confirmed for Kosovo by the lawyer of this case, Musa Damati.
My “client Silvana Arsovic, with her role as party assistant, is suspected that through cameras she has offered help in criminal work, and in this phase of criminal procedure I consider it a success of protection that other measures proposed by the Special Prosecutor of Kosovo have been rejected for my client, and that the court has approved of the defense request by continuing the move for the police presentation of my client”, Damati declared.
Oliver Ivanovic, leader of the Party of Freedom, Democracy and Barazi, was shot dead on January 16th 2018 in the northern part of the town of Mitrovica. Serbian media described the murder as an act committed in the car by more than one person, while Ivanovic was going to party offices.
Police suspect that a car found burnt in another Mitrovica street has been used by the perpetrators, then burned to lose traces. In November 2019, Kosovo Police have arrested three people in northern Mitrovica, who are allegedly linked to Ivanovic's murder.
