The MP from PDK ranks, Uran Ismaili, has reacted to last night's Kosovo Police action in Karacheva, in which the illegal casino network was hit, and where dozens of people, including police officials, were arrested.
Using a Facebook post, Ismaili has said this action has hit crime and sent clear signals to all those who have chosen to deal with this illegal activity.
But, as Ismaili has said, it is disturbing how such confidential operations are becoming the object of low political confrontations between the VV and PDK.
“From clashes in the Kosovo Assembly and from television studios, we realised that former Prime Minister Albin Kurti has refused to take measures against organised crime. Even though it was said that everything had been ready for this operation, Kurt had become a lawyer for this activity by choosing to fail. But he did not choose silence. In a television interview, Kurti calmly states that he had twice rejected the police's plan to crack down on”, he wrote.
He has even accused VV leader Albin Kurti of jeopardising national security when he showed how he stopped the police action in Karatevo.
Ismaili's full post:
Kosovo police, with the action undertaken in the Karacheva border area, hit crime and sent clear signals to all those who have chosen for their activities the already banned casinos.
However, it is disturbing that confidential operations become the object of low political confrontations by VV and LDK.
From clashes in the Kosovo Assembly and television studios, we realised that former Prime Minister Albin Kurti has refused to take measures against organised crime. Even though it was said that everything had been ready for this operation, Kurt had become a lawyer for this activity by choosing to fail. But he did not choose silence. In a television interview, Kurt quietly states that he had twice rejected the police plan to crack down on crime.
With the discovery of this information as it was supposed to hit crime in Karatcheva, Kurti has risked national security and the security of police and leaders of the operation. So here's a double responsibility:
The obstruction of making a decision.
Discovering information that such an operation is being prepared.
For the first time, Kurt indicated he was reluctant to face crime. With the second, he warned and publicly informed the casinos of such an operation, thus giving them the opportunity to take care of the crime coverage.
