The interior minister has said that in last night's police action everything has gone according to plan prepared by investigative bodies and prosecution.
“Action has gone well, is properly prepared. Fighting crime, corruption, fortune-games will not stop with this” action, Veliu said, in a brief conversation for Express.
He has warned other shares in the fight against crime and corruption. He said no one would be spared in this battle.
“won't be the last police action in the fight against crime, corruption and luck games”, he added.
Last night, Kosovo Police took action where they cuffed 33 people, including 10 police officers.
By the time Prime Minister was Albin Kurti, this action was not supported. Albin Kurti had said he did not allow action in Karacheva because it was not known correctly whose part it was and there was no analysis-shaped document for the action.
Agim Veliu, interior minister, had said some time ago that Albin Kurti had no courage to give support to institutions of order, to take action against crime and corruption.
