Hysni Gucati's former warriors call his arrest kidnapped

The head of the Organisation of Veterans for the Kosovo Liberation Army, Hysni Gucati, has been arrested on Friday in the offices of this organisation, by members of the European Mission for Rule of Order and Law (EULEX).

His former fighters have named him “kidnapping” his arrest, Kosovo reports.

The head of the War Veterans' Organization, Emin Lati, that this court, according to him, is already out of command.

This is kidnapping, after this court is out of command. I've contacted Gucati today; he's arrived in The Hague, he's fine. Waiting there was pretty good”.

Today's “Bastation has occurred because of the files, which they themselves have brought into the organisation, because we do not work in EULEX, nor in the Specialised Chamber; this is political”.

Lati has said that publishing files from the KLA's OVL has been the reason for the arrest of the leaders of this organisation.

While the former warrior, Avdullah Gashi, has said he believes in Gucati's innocence and, according to him, the way he was arrested, has been non-human.

“Gucati has been a devoted warrior and has given his foot for this country. His manner of arrest is non-human. He was kidnapped. Why was it kidnapped that someone sent a file there? Sadly, no politician or MP came out to support veterans. The war has been clean, we have not gone to commit crimes in Serbia. Gucati is as pure as tear”

Gucat's other former fighter, Ramiz Shala, has said that the “burden they created to veterans is unwarrantable, a spectacle of clean acrobats”.

“does not need such desecration of local institutions. Gucati has done his job at the head of veterans. He was at his workplace. The matter is said to be the pump media”.

“Files that circulate through the media, in Serbia, have been filtered by four prosecutors: Yugoslavia/Serbia, U n NMIC, EULEX and now from the Special Chambers”, he said.
