Hoxhaj: If you think this government has negotiated in Washington, you're wrong.

Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti is reporting to MPs in the Parliament for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue. In this session, Enver Hoxhaj on behalf of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) has declared that the United States of America has been strongly returned with an effort to wrap up the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, which, therefore, stresses, is positive development. However, he Hoxhaj says Americans as serious partners have done their job but have questioned how much the Kosovo government has been prepared for what happened on September 3rd and 4th in Washington. Hoxhaj said the Hoti Government has not negotiated the deal that was reached in the US, and if this is happening, then he says Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti tells of the points he has negotiated.

We're not here to talk about America because their role is known, and I think Americans as serious partners have done their pen, but since we're in this session it's been prepared, how determined the Kosovo government has been in Washington on September 3rd and 4th. I don't say that because I'm in the opposition. If you think Prime Minister Hoti and the government we face have really negotiated something in Washington, it's wrong. I had invited the prime minister to report to show us what the first draft of the agreement is, if it negotiated, what is the second draft of the agreement if it negotiated, what is the third draft of the agreement if it negotiated and let us know what points have been removed, which points have been removed and which points have been added. If you think this government has negotiated, you are very wrong”, Hoxhaj said. He even says that the deal in the United States is merited by Americans, not by government.

“This represents the country, represents both me and the opposition because it is Kosovo prime minister in his address that did not happen, outlined situations that do not exist. He can talk about what he wants... the deal that is more is merited by Americans, not by the government”, Hoxhaj said. And Hoxhaj has also talked about recognising Kosovo from Israel, which he said has only been a commitment to recognition.

No decision so far in Jerusalem has been made either by the Government or by the Foreign Ministry, so I had asked you not to say that recognition but it is a commitment to recognition, it is unformed recognition”, Hoxhaj said.
