That pledge has been one of the provisions of the agreement signed on September 4th at the White House between representatives of Kosovo and Serbia.
The Peace Agreement will foster economic development and regional integration, linking Nis and Pristina. It will also serve as a powerful symbol of the new and transforming relationship of these two neighbouring countries”, Boelher said.
Reed, on the other hand, has said this project is an important step towards co-operation between Pristina and Belgrade.

The delegations of these two troops are said to be visiting Pristina and Belgrade later this month to advance work on the Peace Highway and other projects.
In addition, it has been confirmed that the United States International Finance Development Corporation will also open its office in Belgrade to facilitate project implementation.
