The Haradinaj government received 61 votes, where there were no vote against and only one abstention from Zafir Berisha.
The LDK, Alternative and Vetevendosje deputies who abandoned the hall did not participate in the vote.
In his address at the beginning of the parliamentary session, the prime minister in the resignation, Haradinaj, presented his cabinet's priorities: strengthening the rule and law, NATO membership, integration, dialogue with Serbia.
Kosovo today is threatened by new and old risks, so it needs first internal security, strengthening order and rule of law. Kosovo itself will feel secure only with NATO membership, and we will work to lead it towards NATO. Membership in international bodies has been difficult, but we will work on it as well. We will work in record time on implementing the SAA and obtain candidate status. We will also strengthen our friendship with the United States - a lasting friendship, not just for difficult times. As for the region, dialogue with Serbia has no alternative”, Haradinaj said.
Otherwise, still two years of work in office as prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj was obliged to resign because of the Special Court's invitation to The Hague, after which early parliamentary elections were held on October 6th.
