AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj has talked about the economic normalisation agreements Kosovo and Serbia signed yesterday at the White House in the presence of President Donald Trump.
In a proposal for Telegrafi, Haradinaj said the first version of the agreement has not been properly in the Wyman case, as both sides wrote that they share the Lake of Weyman/Gazivodes for water and energy supplies.
He says he has insisted that this be changed, otherwise the AAK has been ready to exit the coalition with the LDK.
This point, according to him, was then changed to replace with the feasibility study by the US Department for Energy.
The first version of the document has been incorrect as far as Wyman is concerned, and this has been unacceptable for us. That is what we have taken a stand for. After our request, the point about Weyman Lake has been changed. If our request had not been taken into account, we were willing to leave the coalition with the LDK. Our ministers have had their resignations prepared for”.
The AAK leader said he carried the burden of the deal after saying it depends on what would happen in Washington.
The bar of the deal fell on me, it wasn't easy. So we need to be alert in the future to learn from the bad experiences we have had that we should not get excited at such times”.
Meanwhile questioned about the coalition's shake, Haradinaj confirmed that tensions have passed and the coalition is stable.
As for the 16-point agreement, Haradinaj has said that Kosovo has won.
Kosovo on September 4th in Washington has won, is not a loser. That's why I supported the deal reached at the White House. We still have difficulties, but we have to work”.
“For achieving this agreement, I express gratitude to the US, President Donald Trump, Special Emissari for Dialog Richard Green and others who have been working on this over and over”./ Telegraph
