The owner of this pizza Mentor Qoqaj has shown in the special edition of Klan Kosova how the whole case happened, while he insists that the same people have demanded tribute.
Three days ago some young men started coming. One of them knows he's from a village in Kamenica, since we used to work with him as a baker. He saw me opening up the business and he was looking for 50 euros first and then 20 euros, telling me he needed them for kids. I gave it to him twice because I knew him and I felt sorry. Two days from now, he's been threatening me with messages like I need you to give me 200 euros a month if you're going to work in Camenica, otherwise you can work at Camenica.
I doubt that this is a matter of payment because the Qoqaj family has come to compete. I doubt someone pushed them. I didn't owe them at all and I don't owe them”.
He said he reported the case to the police when he was making the statement, and the whole story happened in his bar.
I went to announce the case at the Kosovo Police in the town of Kamenica. During the conversation with the police, they were starting to break my bar. While the bar was breaking up, I was at the police station when a message came to me from my employee Bajram Duraj who told me to come to the bar that they were going to want me. They came to kill you. I didn't even come to the bar, because the police didn't leave me because of my security”
The police have arrived within two minutes and captured the perpetrators during the beating. They took my employee and the two people who came here to threaten me to get my money.
“The guard was attacked with glasses and hit with ice. He said he's just a worker and knows nothing about the case. They didn't say anything to the worker, they just hit him and told him he came to kill his boss”.
Qoqaj has said that his bar worker has been brutally beaten and, therefore, suffered severe head and hand injury.
He has said that his establishment will still open Friday, as planned, until he said he would give no one money for tribute.
I won't leave the bar, but I haven't seen anyone pay tribute. I got the messages they sent me and I got the cameras in front of the bar”.
