Gucati will have his first appearance before the Special Chambers tomorrow.

The first show will be in public session form and can be forwarded through video-link, the Specialised Chambers said.

Gucati was arrested on September 25th by the Specialised Prosecutor's Office, under suspicion of obstructing justice.

There is doubt that Mr. Gucati held three press conferences on September 7, 16 and 22, 2020, where he has distributed or made access to the media information and confidential and non-public documents concerning the work of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office and did not intervene when Nazim Haradinaj (the deputy head of the KLA's OVL) has mentioned a witness's name and provided information about the location where he resides and other personal data, said the arrest for Gucats.

Gucati was arrested at the offices of the KLA OVL on 25 September, after the Specialised Prosecutor's Office carried out a raid action that lasted more than eight hours. The same day, the deputy chairman of the organisation, Nasim Haradinaj, was arrested, who also allegedly obstructed justice. Haradinaj makes his first appearance before the tribunal on 29 September.

Three times in a row, the KLA's OVL held media conferences where material allegedly classified by the Special Court was distributed.

The contents of these documents are unknown and have not yet been confirmed if they are authentic.

Specialised Chambers and the Specialised Prosecutor's Office, also known as the Special Court, have headquarters at The Hague and deal with the alleged war crimes investigation of members of the former Kosovo Liberation Army.
