The Special Emisari for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Richard Green, has explained that no mutual recognition at the White House between Avdullah Hoti and Alexander Vuciq has been discussed on Monday in Brussels.
The “Pales will meet in Brussels on Monday and there is another aspect to be discussed and let me get to your question about this “pec 10” one of the reasons we didn't want to talk about this topic here is because it's on the agenda that will be discussed Monday in Brussels”, Grenelli said.
Green has made this statement known, at a news conference, following the signing ceremony of the agreement for economic normalisation between Kosovo and Serbia at the White House. President Trump's National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien and President Jared Kouchner's senior adviser were also at this conference.
Green has said the topic of mutual recognition has left to Europeans.
We are trying to co-ordinate with Europeans what we can do and what they can do to push this forward. On Monday that topic will be discussed in detail in Brussels, so I'm sure that we should somehow leave and work with Europeans on this matter”, he said.
All these explanations, Grenelli has been given after being asked by reporters whether the famous 10 points of mutual recognition have been removed between Kosovo and Serbia. Grenelli explaining the two documents signed by the Kosovo and Serbian sides, which are identical except to the last point where Kosovo and Israel recognise each other, said the points in the agreement have not been listed.
He said that it has been discussed on various topics which were presented to the parties at the outset, adding that the sentence that has come out that the entire agreement is summed up in the reciprocal recognition between Kosovo and Serbia has been partial and has given false impressions.
“S first is wrong to say it was a point number 10. None of the points have been listed. When we negotiated there were discussions on various topics on the table, many things were added and removed during the talks. For someone to publicize a certain sentence and claim that all has been a whole deal is typical political, but nothing has been listed in numbers. Nothing has been agreed on until it has all agreed, so something has come out of the negotiations and it's been partial and I think it's then very pronounced that has given the false impression”, said Grenelli.
