The Hoti government has failed to establish unity within the coalition and political spectrum in general, while this executive has the second largest number of deputy ministers in the last 13 years.

Executive director Arbesha Loja said that despite the fact that the LDK in the election campaign had promised a small government with 12 ministries, the same has ended up doubling the number of deputy ministers.
With the appointment of 46 deputy ministers, we assess that it is the second government with the largest number in the last 13 years in Kosovo. The cabinet of the government, Hoti, is characterised with huge gender inequality, in 16 there are only 3 ministers and deputy minister only 8”, Loxha said.
According to her, this Government has yet to offer any prospects for reforms.
“GLPS estimates there has been no serious initiative for the effort of justice institutions. We do not have to draft justice reform, where the subject of reform will be the leaders of justice. The government has not taken any measures to reduce expenditures”, Loxha has added.
While GLPS software manager Nnomza Arifi said the current government has failed to test citizens for COVID-19.
“Dialog has been associated with lack of transparency, even from those in Brussels, but in Washington, the Hoti government has failed to create unity and consensus of the political spectrum. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has carried out weak diplomatic practices in the interest of the ruling parties”, she said. /
