The mayor of the municipality, Lutfi Haziri, referring to statistics and on the basis of high inter-institute readiness and co-ordination, has stressed that with general discipline and determination in respecting state recommendations, a reduction of the trajectory with positive cases to zero.
“Based on statistics of the past few weeks is seen a continuing decline of infected persons with Covid-19. In today's results, we have only 88 active cases with Covid-19, out of 946 cases of how much we've recorded in the total confronting pandemic on March 13th. Thus, total cases are 817, while 41 citizens have lost their lives in this war against Coddy-19. Waiting samples are 42 citizens and 19 tutors from private nests, and we hope that these too will be negative. Under the ongoing care of doctors at the Regional Hospital there are a total of 26 patients, who are confirmed in stable condition and with mild symptoms”, Chairman Haziri said.
Haziri has appealed to all citizens of the Gjilan municipality, and especially to all teachers and students, to constantly carry masks and other protective measures to avoid infection.
Also from the private sector and state workers, he has called for respect for safeguard clauses to help widespread involvement in the elimination of the virus.
