The Novicok group's “Three labs have now provided data to Novico's nervous agent, as a trigger for the poisoning of the Navajo. We call on Russia to clarify what happened. We are in close contact with European partners for future steps”, the German government said through a statement on September 14th, as it released new findings.
Navalny is sick on a flight from Siberia to Moscow on August 20th and was later sent to Germany for treatment at the request of his wife.
German experts have said that the 44-year-old -- aimed at fighting corruption -- has been poisoned with nervous agents of the military category.
This data has prompted world leaders to ask Russia to investigate the case.
Russian authorities have refused to open any criminal investigation, saying they have no evidence of signs of poisoning.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on September 10th that it is possible that poisoning was led by senior Moscow officials.
The Navajo team, relatives and others believe Russian authorities stand behind the poisoning.
But the Kremlin has repeatedly denied these claims.
