Although two clinical trials are expected to be completed by the end of the year, Fauci said an independent board such as the Data and Security Monitoring Board (DSMB) has the authority to end the evidence as soon as it writes CNN.
Fauci says all the data is so good now, safe and effective.
Dr. Fauci comes at a disturbing time, because political pressure directed DSMB can influence an early adoption of the vaccine.
Fauci believes independent DSM members, who are not government employees, will carry vaccines on high standards without being affected.
Producers are now testing three vaccines againstvid-19, one from Modernna and the National Institute of Health and the other led by Pfizer and BioNTech
