Senior expert on infectious diseases, Anthony Fauci, says that the United States is still in the first wave of the coronary pandemic as the country passes through a “sfides” as it enters the autumn and winter season.
“instead of saying a second wave, why don't we just say: Are we prepared for the fall and winter challenge?”, he told CNN.
Fauci argued that the idea of a second wave stems from the pandemic of the Spanish Grip in 1918.
By the time the disease affected a multitude of people in the spring, you had paused to explode again in the autumn season.
The U.S. expert noted that areas that levelled cases with COVID-19 should follow instructions to prevent new growths, which could inevitably occur unless they are implemented.
Among these instructions are the rules that were implemented by the World Health Organization, such as constantly cleaning hands, avoiding crowds, and keeping measures where social distance is not possible.
