Evacuated area around Eiffel Tower in Paris, bomb suspicion

Police have put cordons in this country today after an anonymous phone call claimed an explosive had been left there.

Armed officials could be seen on the cordon placed on the streets in the vicinity, while French media reported that explosives teams were dealing with tracking explosive events equipment, writes the DM, the Periscope.

The roads leading to the Island Tower are blocked as people are told to avoid circulation in the area.
