Erdogan: Dispute with Greece could be resolved with constructive dialogue

“Disagreements in the Eastern Mediterranean can be resolved through negotiations, provided they are carried out with a constructive approach based on justice”, he claimed, during a video conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, whose country is acting as mediator between Turkey and Greece, according to the Turkish presidency.

Turkey and Greece are struggling for potentially rich natural gas zones in the eastern Mediterranean.
Tension deteriorated in late August, when the two countries carried out rival military maneuvers.
